Hometown: Zillingtal, AT Genres: Metal / Female Fronted Modern Metal Members: Katrin Bernhardt, Raffael Trimmal, Thomas Bauer, Michael Bartl, Andreas Zoncsich In 2004, the five friends decided to persue their concerted passion and founded XENESTHIS. Their first EP "Straight to Infinity" gained awesome reviews all over Europe. In 2006 XENESTHIS recorded their EP "Shades".

The band established a good reputation as a live act, so they were chosen by Slayer's tour manager to support the Unholy Alliance Tour 2008 in Vienna and even had the chance to fire up the crowd for Metallica at the Nova Rock festival 2009. From 2006-2009 XENESTHIS shared the stage with and played support shows for the following bands: SLAYER, SLIPKNOT, TRIVIUM, AMON AMARTH, MASTODON, LACUNA COIL, DISTURBED, AS I LAY DYING, SONIC SYNDICATE, DEATHSTARS, NEAERA, EKTOMORF, CALIBAN and many more. Their new CD "Thou shalt not" will be released on may 14th, 2011.
