Voodoma

VOODOMA entstanden im Winter 2002. Nach zwei Demos veröffentlichte die Band Ihr Debütalbum „Dimension V“ im Januar 2004. Dieses Album wurde Europaweit über mehrere Mailorder vertrieben und erntete von allen namhaften Magazinen Top – Rezensionen. Viele Radioeinsätze und Festivalauftritte folgten. Als Höhepunkt der bisherigen Laufbahn gewannen VOODOMA einen Auftritt auf dem legendären Wacken Open Air 2004.
Im Mai 2006 wurde nach zweijährigen intensiven Arbeiten das Konzeptalbum „Reign of Revolution“ veröffentlicht. Thematisch befassen sich die Tracks auf dem Album mit Machtmissbrauch und Verbrechen, hervorgerufen durch blinden religiösen Fanatismus.

Voodoma is a Metalband from Duesseldorf / Germany. The Voodoma sound includes elements from melodic hardrock/metal fitted with many different sounds. All tracks have exciting song structures with melancholic flair and deep lyrics. There are pure acoustic tracks, epic rock compositions mit atmospheric choirs, keyboard and piano passages and very fast metal smashers.
