Mr Brown

Die Band wurde von uns im August 2000 ins Leben gerufen mit dem Ziel, die Welt zu erobern. Stück für Stück arbeiteten wir an dieser großen Aufgabe und absolvierten in den folgenden zwei Jahren unzählige Auftritte in Norddeutschland, aber auch Schweden und Dänemark waren Stationen auf unserem unaufhaltsamen Weg nach oben. In dieser Zeit nahmen wir auch unsere ersten beiden EPs "Imaginations" und "Traffic Jam" auf. Belohnt wurde unser Fleiß mit dem Kunst- und Kulturpreis des Kreises Segeberg.

Im Winter 2003/2004, bei den Studioaufnahmen zu unserer fünften EP "Moviestars On Ice", stieß Carl zu uns; seither unser Gitarrengott. Zur gleichen Zeit wurde auch unser Schul-Outfit kreiert, längst unverkennbares Markenzeichen von MR BROWN. 2004 startete ereignisreich: Beim renommierten Emergenza-Wettbewerb setzten wir uns weltweit gegen 6000 Bands durch, tourten erfolgstrunken durch die Republik und spielten unsere EP "Lovesongs" ein. Weiterhin waren wir unermüdlich auf Tour, ca. 100 Auftritte in Deutschland, Dänemark und Frankreich folgten.

Nun wollte auch Amerika erobert werden. Im August 2005 spielten wir erfolgreich diverse Gigs der "Warped Tour" in den USA. Anschließend formierte sich die Band neu. Hanni (Drums) und Chris (Bass) ersetzten die bisherigen Mitglieder. An unserer Philosophie hat sich seither nichts geändert - wir rocken unermüdlich die Welt. Mehr als 30 Auftritte in der neuen Formation folgten bereits, und die Aufnahmen zu unserer im Sommer begonnenen ersten LP sind abgeschlossen.

Mr. Brown was formed in August of 2000 with all good intentions of conquering the world. Over the next two years we worked diligently at this ambitious undertaking and performed countless gigs all over Northern Germany (our homeland) and even parts of Sweden and Denmark. During that busy time we were able to record our first two EPs, “Imaginations” and “Traffic Jam”, for which were rewarded the “Art and Culture Prize” of the administrative district Segeberg.

In the winter of 2003/2004 our current god of the guitar, Carl, joined the band. At that time we were recording our fifth EP, “Movie Stars on Ice”. This was also around the time that we created our trademark school uniform outfit that we wear on stage to this day. 2004 was a busy and successful year for us; we prevailed against 6,000 other bands in the well-known Emergenza-Contest. We also toured throughout Germany, Denmark and France (over 100 gigs!) with much success as we simultaneously recorded our “Love Songs” EP.

By this point America was simply asking to be conquered by us as well. In August of 2005 we played several gigs on the “Vans Warped Tour” in the United States. We had a blast, but alas, had to return to Germany to continue building our established success. At that point it was time to rebuild Mr. Brown in the interest of our escalating future. That is why Hanni (drums) and Chris (bass) replaced two former members in the fall of 2005. With these two awesome additions Mr. Brown is currently rocking the world harder and more efficiently then ever. Since Hanni and Chris joined Mr. Brown, we have performed an additional 30 gigs with them that have all been pulled off spectacularly. We are currently finished with recording our album that were working on throughout 2005. It is not available to buy or listen to yet, and we know the anticipation is driving you mad, but don’t worry, it’s on it’s way!
