UNCLOUDED PERCEPTION

Alles begann im November 2008.
5 Musiker fanden sich zusammen und gründeten eine Band.
Vorerst spielten sie unter dem Namen „Crossover“ einige Covertitel von
Bands wie: Metallica, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Nirvana, Korn, Nickelback usw.
Nach ca. einem halben Jahr folgte das erste eigene Lied „One true love“.
Daraufhin entschieden sie sich, mit dem covern von neuen Titeln aufzuhören,
eigene Lieder zu schreiben und ihren Namen zu ändern.
Ende Juni 2009 schlossen sie ihre Namenssuche ab und kamen als
„UNCLOUDED PERCEPTION“ mit dem ersten stilprägendem Lied „Ride to death“ zurück auf die Bühne.
Weitere Lieder folgten und zeigten neben dem Musikstil „Heavy Metal“
auch Elemente des „(Hard) Rock“ und „Thrash Metal“ auf.
Das Programm von U.P. reicht von sehr ruhigen, z.t. unverzerrt gespielten,
bis hin zu extrem energiegeladenen, schnellen Liedern.
Darüber hinaus schafft die Band auch gerne innerhalb der Lieder Kontraste,
indem sie beide Varianten miteinander kombiniert.
Der Wechsel von ruhigen zu schnellen, verzerrten Parts innerhalb mancher
Lieder, spielt Ruhe und Gewalt gegeneinander auf und lässt diese umso intensiver wirken.
Ebenso variiert der Gesang auch innerhalb der Lieder stark, sodass er diesen
Effekt unterstützt bzw. diesen selbst bildet.
Unclouded Perception setzt auf handgemachte, emotionsgeladene Musik, die
sich von der Masse abheben soll.
Dass diese Band große Ziele hat, merkt man ihr spätestens live an.
Ihr Programm präsentieren sie seriös und mit sichtbarer Überzeugung.
Die Musik der jungen Band klingt sehr erwachsen und originell.
Dazu tragen auch die tiefgründigen, englischsprachigen Texte bei, welche
ausschließlich in Reimen verfasst sind.

Now some phrases about the history of U.P.
It all began on a cold november day in 2008. The just founded band “Crossover” was searching for members. A friend of the present singer Bo:rni saw the announcement and gave them a hint. After watching a few youtube-videos of Bo:rni, they knew that this is the one who they..re searching for. They immediately got in contact with him and he joined the band. So there was a singer, a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer… After a few practices Bo:rni asked his friend Martin (a guitar player) to join the band. Martin told him before that he would like to form a band with Bo:rni therefore he joined instantly. In the beginning of january ..09 they got their first concert offer. They needed to perform in february and they must had a program which..s not less than one hour. They thought they wouldn..t make it. The progress wasn..t that good. In the middle of january, the band seriously decided that they need a new bassist, according to the lack of engagement of the former one. The first guitarist Wolfgang asked a friend (a good bassist) if he want to join the band. He did and the progress went the way it should. So they played their fist concert with one and a half hour program. The visitors couldn..t believe that this was the first concert of the guys…they gave their best on that day…this was more than just a good start. After it, the pressure was gone, the progress stucked. In spring ..09 they decided to do no more covers than two of their favourite songs and then start to make their own stuff. Bo:rni wrote the first song “One true love”. This song was/is cool but it wasn..t the direction they finally wanted to go. First they decided to change their name…a lot of proposals were found but it took a few weeks for the final decision .

So after a few months of silence, they came back on 06/30/2009
with a new name, a new song/video (Ride to death) and a new style…
