Hokum spielt Metal, der sich aus Heavy-, Death- und Thrash-Elementen symbiotisiert und
eine unglaubliche Aggressivität zu Tage legt, ohne dabei die Harmonie außer Acht zu lassen.

Schon die ersten Liveauftritte der Band im Jahr 2003 schlugen
ein wie eine Bombe: Hokum ist schnell zu einer der wichtigsten
Metal-Bands der Region geworden, nicht zuletzt der von allen
Seiten umjubelte Auftritt auf dem Red Corner Festival 2005
festigte den Ruf als exzellente Liveband.
Ausgeklügelte, virtuose Gitarrensoli, treibende
Schlagzeugpatterns, variabler Gesang mit mächtigen Death-
Metal-Growls und technisch versierte Bassläufe zeichnet die
Musik der vier Jungs aus dem Münchener Norden aus, die seit
der Gründung im Jahr 2000 in Originalbesetzung auftreten.
Die Band schaffte es sogar, sich beim Kulturalarm-
Bandwettbewerb 2005 in Freising gegen Bands aus dem
Mainstreambereich durchzusetzen und belegte den ersten Platz.

Already the first live appearances of the band in 2003 made a splash: Hokum fastly grew to one of the most important bands of the region, the acclaimed gig at the Red Corner Festival 2005 hardened the reputation as an excellent live band.
Sophisticated, virtous guitar soli, driving drum patterns, variable vocals with mighty Death Metal growls and technically adept bass lines mark the music of the four guys from Munich, who still play in original line up since 2000.
The band even triumphed over mainstream oriented bands at the Kulturalarm Band Contest 2005 in Freising and made the first place.
