Elephant Walk

Seit 1994 spielt Soul-, Funk- & Fusionband aus Burgdorf schwarze Grooves im Stile von Candy Dulfer, Tower of Power und Maceo Parker. Kleine Clubs und große Bühnen sind den Musikern genauso vertraut wie Radio- und Fernsehauftritte (siehe auch Elephant Walk auf www.myspace.com).
Für die Darbietung beim "winning jazz Festival" wurde ELEPHANT WALK 1997 im Jazzclub Hannover mit einem der begehrten Bandpreise ausgezeichnet.

1998 und 2002 entstanden auf dem Label Sponsors Dance die CDs Mystery Walk und Stomp.

Stomp wurde zusammen mit der Sängerin Sunny Heights aufgenommen. Bis 2006 hielt die Elefantenhochzeit. Seit 2007 widmet sich Sunny eigenen Projekten, ist aber ein immer gerne gesehener Gast bei den Bandmitgliedern.

Since 1994 the fine, young funk-, soul- and fusionband from Burgdorf has been playing black beats and grooves in the style of Candy Dulfer and Maceo Parker. Small clubs and large stages are for the musicians as familiar as radio and television appearances.

1997 ELEPHANT WALK were honoured when they received a very much sought after prize at the "winning jazz Festival".

The Mystery Walk CD, recorded in 1998, allows the listener a brief insight into their repertoire of great variety.

Starting from 1999, ELEPHANT WALK have been working alongside Sunny Heights, who has put her whole heart into singing black soul music. The band promise a great show, good entertainment and music, which will make your whole body move.
