Antillectual

Antillectual is a punkrock trio from the Nijmegen area in the Netherlands. Music in the vein of Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere & Rise Against; political lyrics on melodic music.

Biography
Inspired by the melodic punk wave of the 90’s, Antillectual forms in September 2000. After dozens of shows they record ‘Penetrating The Industry’ in November 2001. This EP gets them a lot of shows and positive responses. After a year of hard work they record ‘Facts, Opinions & In Between’ in November 2002. It gets even better responses and takes them abroad to tour all over Europe and the U.S.A. In November and December 2004 they record their debut full-length album ‘Silencing Civilization’, release February 2005 by Angry Youth Records. The album gets critical acclaim and dozens of extremely positive reviews. It gives them the opportunity to tour Europe again and play a load of shows in their home country.
