Bayerischer Bluesrock, erdig und ehrlich – Das ist die Musik von HolleGreat.

Im Juni 2007 präsentiert der Sänger und Gitarrist bereits sein drittes Stück „Der Rentner“ auf einer Maxi-CD. Hier schreibt er über das Ruhestands-Phänomen, das sich in akutem Zeitmangel der Pensionäre äußert. Nicht einmal für den eigenen Tod hat der Rentner Zeit. Selbst der Teufel mit seinen Worten
„Heast me oida, ats kimm i zu dir
( Hörst du mich alter Mann, jetzt komme ich zu dir )

Dei Zeit is vorbei und iats bag dei Baggl zamm
( Deine Zeit ist nun vorbei und jetzt pack dein Päckchen zusammen )

und schick di no a bisserl, dann bag mas glei in Gott`s Namm
( und beeile dich ein wenig, dann packen wir es an in Gottes Namen )

kann den Senior im Lied nicht beeindrucken.

Der Song „Der Rentner“ wurde von der Deutschen Disc-Jockey Organisation (DDO) bemustert und mit der Note 2,23 bewertet. Die DDO ist eine Expertenjury von circa 500 Disc-Jockeys, Plattenfirmen, Künstlern und Produzenten und bemustert Songs nach dem Schulnotensystem.

HolleGreat präsentiert und singt seine Lieder auf ganz eigene Art und Weise. Es ist ihm eine Herzensangelegenheit Erfahrungen an sein Publikum weiterzugeben. Bedingt durch eigene Erlebnisse und Erzählungen von Freunden bleiben die Songs immer ein Teil seines Lebens. Als kreativem Songwriter fliegen dem Bayer die Ideen nur so zu. Plötzlich hat er eine Melodie im Ohr, die er vor sich hin summt, ein Blatt Papier muss her, um die passenden Zeilen aufzuschreiben. Mit der Gitarre probiert er noch ein paar Akkorde. Natürlich ist das Komponieren und Texten nicht so einfach, wie es sich anhört, doch mit seinem Kollegen und Mitinhaber der „HolleGreat GbR“, Franz Hagl, schafft der Musiker alles, was er sich vornimmt.

Der Name "HolleGreat"

Erwin Kopold und Franz Hagl stammen beide aus der Hallertau, dem größten Hopfenanbaugebiet der Welt. Da das Teams überwiegend in bayerischer Sprache singt, möchten sie, dass sich in ihrem Firmen- und Bandnamen etwas heimisches widerspiegelt und kommen dabei schnell auf die Hallertau. Die Musiker wollen mit ihren Projekten etwas Besonderes, Großartiges schaffen und der englische Begriff great setzt sich in den Köpfen fest. Nun liegt der Name auf der Hand: Aus Hallertau, ausgesprochen Holledau und great wird „Hollegreat“.

Die Menschen hinter "HolleGreat"

HolleGreat ist der Zusammenschluss zweier Musiker und guter Freunde, mit dem gemeinsamen Ziel, ein Unternehmen in der Musikbranche aufzubauen. Dabei agieren sie selbst als Künstler, Produzenten, Musikverlag, Plattenfirma und Manager. Zusätzlich sollen andere Künstler produziert und gemanagt werden.

Bavarian blues rock, earthy and honest – this is the music made by HolleGreat.

In June 2007 the singer and guitarist already presented his third song "Der Rentner“ (the pensioner) on a Maxi-CD. This song describes the phenomenon of retirement that manifests itself in an acute lack of time which all pensioners are suffering from. The pensioner does not even find time for his own death. In the song even the devil cannot impress the pensioner with his words

The song "Der Rentner" was assessed by the German Disc-Jockey Organisation (DDO) and achieved mark 2.23. The DDO is a jury of experts consisting of about 500 disc jockeys, record labels, artists and producers who assesses songs according to the school grading system.

HolleGreat present and sing their songs in a very spezial manner. It is a heartfelt wish for Erwin Kopold to pass his feelings on to his audience. As they are based on his own experience and on stories told by his friends, the songs always remain a part of his life. He is a very creative songwriter, so ideas come easily to the Bavarian guy. Suddenly he has a melody in his ear which he hums, and he immediately takes a sheet of paper to write down the matching lines. He then tries a few chords on his guitar. Of course, composing and writing the text of a song is not quite as simple as it may sound here but together with his mate and joint owner of "HolleGreat GbR", Franz Hagl, the musician succeeds in everything he is aiming for.

The name "HolleGreat"

Erwin Kopold and Franz Hagl both originate from a region called "Hallertau" which is the world-wide largest hop-growing area. As the team mainly sings in Bavarian dialect they wish that their native country is reflected in the name of their company and music band, and thus "Hallertau" suggested itself. The musicians wish to create something special and great with their projects, this is why the English term 'great' settled in their mind. Now, the chosen name "HolleGreat" becomes obvious: it is made up of 'Hallertau', pronounced 'Holledau' and 'great'.

The people behind "HolleGreat"

HolleGreat is the joint project of two musicians and some good friends having the joint objective to establish a company in the music industry. In doing so, they act as musicians, producers, music publisher, record label and managers. In addition, other musicians shall be produced and managed.
