Divine X^

Metal auf technisch hohem Niveau, Gänsehautatmosphäre und eine kräftige Portion Arschtritt- das klingt nach Divine X. Seit 2004 sind die fünf Death Metaller aus Dresden auf musikalischer Mission. Erst ein Sieg beim Bandcontest, daraus folgend das Demo zu „The other side“, ein Gig mit „NILE“ und das Halbfinale beim internationalen „Wacken- Metal Battle“ sind Indizien, für eine nach oben schmetternde Newcomer- Band, die ihren Namen in andere Sphären leitet.

...On their self-released debut demo, The Other Side, the German quintet blends the chugging pulse of later-period Meshuggah with tempo shifts and moody clean passages worthy of a less Gothic or fantastic Opeth perhaps. The icing on the cake is the band's outright prog-metal solos, and full ahead Strapping Young Lad stop-start riff dynamics.
