Abandon Hope

Es ist soweit: Nach dem Promo-4-track "Existance" ist jetzt das erste Album "the endless ride" fertig. Die vierköpfige Band brennt darauf diese CD jetzt live zu präsentieren. "Alle Leute, denen wir das Vorab-Material gezeigt haben, geben uns unglaublich gutes Feedback, und so glauben wir, dass wir jetzt bereit sind den nächsten Schritt zu gehen" meint Gitarrist Jörg.
Die Band hat es geschafft ihren kompakten Live-Sound sehr ehrlich und echt auf die Album-Produktion zu übertragen. Die kraftvolle, sehr tighte Rhythmus-Gruppe (Alex -drums & Max -bass) gefällt im Groove mit der nahezu greifbaren Gitarre und der prägnanten Stimme. Die Band bezieht ihre Einflüsse aus dem Power- und Thrash-Metal der späten achtziger und neunziger Jahre und kombiniert diese mit Elementen aus dem Southern- und Stoner-Rock. Es dominieren ein treibender Groove, tonnenschwere Gitarrenriffs und melodiöser, abwechslungsreicher Gesang.
Live halten Abandon Hope das, was sie auf "the endless ride" versprechen. "Wir haben diese Songs für den Live-Einsatz komponiert", sagt Sänger Hommel "Das ist der Sound, den wir hören, spielen und immer spielen werden - Metal rulez!" Die Bindungen mit der bislang regionalen Fanbase sind der Band genauso wichtig wie ein aktueller und informativer Web-Auftritt.
