Anfang 2006 gründete sich in Göttingen die Band Some, die sich aus Siegmar Pohl (Gesang), Matthias Mann (Gitarre), Martin (Gitarre) Sabrina Caspari (Bass) und Niko´s Tsagarakis (Schlagzeug) zusammensetzt.

Welche Musik machen sie. Handgemachte ehrliche Musik, geboren im Streit. Jede Persönlichkeit hat seinen Einfluss. Durch die unterschiedlichen musikalischen Wurzeln der einzelnen Bandmitglieder, die langjährig in Stoner- Punk- Hardcore-Rockbands gespielt haben, ist die Musik die daraus entsteht, so vielseitig wie die Einflüsse aus denen die Musiker kommen. Die Songs sind teilweise verworren und manchmal sperrig, aber stets voll Leidenschaft. Trotzdem oder gerade wegen der unterschiedlichen musikalischen Herkunft der vier, sind sie stets offen für neue musikalische Einflüsse. Stereo- Szenetypischen Anleihen werden sofort über Bord geworfen und stehen bei den vieren nicht an. Es gilt vielmehr eigene Grenzen und Schranken mit der Musik, mit der Band zu überwinden, sich mit ihr auszudrucken, gemeinsame Ziele zu haben und vor allem zu experimentieren!

In the beginning of 2006 the band Some was formed, made up of Siegmr Pohl (vocals), Matthias Mann (guitar), Martin (guitar) Sabrina Caspari (bass) and Niko Tsagarakis (drums). What kind of musik do they play. Hand-made, honest music, born in arguements. Each personality has its influence. They all used to play in Stoner-Punk-Hardcore-Rockbands for years. The different musical roots of the band members create a multi-layered music as various as the influences under which the musicians have been. The songs are partly ambiguous and rarely catchy, but always full of passion. In spite of or perhaps because of the different musical origin of the four, the band is always open to new musical influences. Stereotypical imitations of the scene are not on with these four. They are about overcoming their own limits and inhibitions with music, with the band. About expressing themselves, having common goals and above all about experimenting! After the recording of the EP this year in October more songs are going to be written and will be performed live on stage from December onwards. Best not to miss it, for the high energy-release on stage has proven to be passed on to the audience - to the point where the odd flying instrument or body part may occour.
